I have to ask the question - how dim do you have to be to fall for it?
Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Happy Birthday, dA!

I spend most of my evening yesterday chatting in the Cartoon and Comics chat hosted by `kangel who was happily giving away subs. It was hella entertaining. Didn't win anything cause most of the time I was still scribbling on my latest comic pages. The rest of the guys there were super fast with answering trivia questions anyway. XD

Also, we got Muro for dA's birthday. I certainly won't trade it for my Photoshop or Painter. It's too slow and doesn't really have all the functions I would need (either that or I just couldn't figure out how it works properly). It's certainly not super bad but sadly also not that mindblowing.

Have you tried it? What are your experiences?

Muro is okay, but it's nothing special. I've used a few free programs over the years that were better in my opinion. If I were to use a free program I'd probably use Open Canvas, but as it is I'll stick with Photoshop and Illustrator. :)

I think their 'selling argument' is currently that it is ready to use without installing an extra program. So I can see that it might come in handy for some sketches when you are just hanging out at dA. But otherwise...

Ah- I can never get any of my DD suggestions going XD Congrats on the feature!
Muro was okay, though I guess you need points to unlock its potential D: `loish said she used the basic round brush and use weblink for shading and details. The programs can't follow fast strokes for me :O
