Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Hey guys!

Just to let you know, I now have a tumblr; Twitter and Formspring account.

I always wanted to make a sketchblog but never really found the right blogging service. Wordpress is nice for my homepage but it's quite isolated. Blogger is said to be quite good but I never really could get used to it. And along came tumblr which seems to be super easy to use. So yeah, I'll try that and see how it works.

For Twitter I have to admit that I still have no clue how to use it properly, lol. If anyone feels like giving me a Twitter 101 lecture you'd be more than welcome. <3

Formspring is pretty much a Q & A platform. I'm always willing to share what little knowledge I have - so if you have any questions, ask! Oh, you can also do that on tumblr btw. Or just use old school communications here on dA. XD



Sooo, how about you? Any tumblr/etc. users here?

No, not me. I just recently joined Facebook and that's probably the most popular social network there is and I never thought I'd ever join that. I say probably because I'm definitely not sure. But I definitely know it's up there.

Ich weiß ja nicht so recht, was es über Twitter zu erzählen gibt. Ist halt recht praktisch für kleine Statusmeldungen und kurze Gedankenaustausche. Die einzigen Besonderheiten, die es gibt, sind wahrscheinlich Retweets, Antworten und Hashtags. Wobei Hashtags wahrscheinlich am sinnlosesten sind...

Vielleicht, wenn man viele Leute erreichen will, die die selben Hashtags beobachten. Allerdings kann man auch nach normalen Wörtern ohne # suchen. Ich habe die bisher noch nicht wirklich gebraucht. Wenn man professionell twittert, ist das vielleicht anders. ;)
