I like how he organizes his journal with the notes and the pencil to the side. I think it would be really cool if you did an up-close detailed version of Cathy's pendant! Just a thought

Hmm I can't really say in words. I'd just love to see the shine of the "textures" on the pendant up close :3
Does he have a dictionary? I mean, at his starting age he would have had a good understanding of English, learning southern common(?), would be something he's probably still learning.
Also, did he forget his English? It'd make for a good code/secret language in that world.
Yes and no. He doesn't really has a singe dictionary but his first journals are full of notes and scribbles regarding vocabulary but it's getting less and less each year and the entries are getting more personal. He's filling a couple of those notebooks each year - the most recent ones are with him at school, the older ones stored in a box in Norath's house. :3
It's getting harder for him to fluently speak his native language with every year that passes since he basically has no one to talk to for practise.
