Mini Time Warp: Will

A bit of character refs in between chapters. Something that I can't convey with those sketchy drawings is Will's change in hair colour.

When I first drew the character he actually did have brown hair. I don't know why but at some point I thought it would be ttly awesome if he had white hair. I still was a teen at that time, so whatever. lol

Anyway, now that the story took more concrete forms I had to figure out why the hell he has white hair. Making him having albinism would have been an easy solution. But well, I also found the idea of him having this dramatic change quite nice (and thus also reflecting a bit the change in character design).

So as of now he is 'just' suffering from premature white hair. While it might sound a bit extreme it's not impossible and there are indeed people who started getting salt'n'pepper hair as a kid and are completely white in their 20's. I think the most common cause is supposed to be genetics. But I've also read you can get white hair from some diseases and of course psychological trauma/stress.

So yeah, his hair is getting white gradually. Around the age of 15 it'll already have a nice silver tone. Hitting his 20s it's almost completely white. :3
